"An evening to remember — Al Volt, Riva del Garda We celebrated my birthday here with the family and couldn’t have chosen a better place. Al Volt is simply special: the atmosphere is unlike anything else — historic vaulted ceilings, warm lighting, beautiful details throughout — elegant, but never stiff. You feel at home from the moment you walk in. The food was a pure delight from start to finish: fantastic starters, a wonderful primo, a beautifully crafted secondi — and to finish, a tiramisu that was quite simply perfect. The wine list is impressive, thoughtfully curated and put together with genuine passion. But what truly makes this place unforgettable is the service. Attentive, warm, with a real interest in the guest — wonderful people. And all of this at prices you would simply not expect for this level of quality. An absolute recommendation — we will be back."

"This was hands down the best restaurant I have ever been to. From the moment we walked in, the attention to detail was incredible. Every element, from the design of the space to the service, felt thoughtful and intentional. The interior is absolutely stunning, one of the most beautiful restaurant settings we’ve experienced. Every single dish we tried was phenomenal. The flavors were just wow. You could really taste the quality and creativity in each bite, and the presentation was equally beautiful without feeling overdone. We had a mix of dishes including meat, pasta, and the salmon and beef tartare with truffle. Each one was outstanding in its own way. A special highlight was the sommelier, who recommended amazing wines by the glass that paired perfectly with our meal. It elevated the whole experience without feeling intimidating. And for the level of quality, the pricing felt very reasonable. Do not skip dessert. The fruit sorbet was incredibly unique and refreshing, the perfect ending. What really made this place stand out even more was the service. We were dining with our 5 year old, and the staff treated him so warmly and thoughtfully. He was so happy and even got seconds, and they surprised him with a special treat at the end, which was such a kind and memorable touch. Honestly, I did not think it was possible to find a place like this that is not a tourist trap, especially in Riva del Garda, but this is a true hidden gem. An unforgettable experience in every way. The best restaurant I have ever tried."

"We had a fabulous time and the staff were incredible. We turned up, without a booking, asking for a table for 13. They said yes, but in the end, we had nine. Our table was lovely, and we weren't cramped at all. Our server was very friendly, accommodating, and a real pleasure. We all ordered various things, and various accommodations were made, at the server's suggestion. I had the tasting menu, which was lovely. Before any of the starters came out we were all served the most amazing soup in a teacup too. It didn't appear to be on the menu but they did an amazing souffle for several of the group. As we finished, one of our group had let them know it was my and a friend's birthday. Out they came with a cake and party hats etc but then smashed it out of the park when one of the staff sang happy birthday, in Italian, in full opera mode. Incredible. Was it perfect, no. Was it one of our most memorable meals ever, without a doubt. Go and see them folks, they deserve your custom. (An FYI, there's not a great drinks selection, beyond wine)."

"What a little gem. Absolutely gorgeous. It was a special night out for us and it was perfect. We had a lovely outside table for two just by the main door. We were so well looked after by the staff. I booked a table online. But when we arrived it wasn't too busy but as the night progressed it started to fill up. We went for the taster menu. Which was fabulous. And we had the sommelier to recommend a local wine to go with it. Again it was excellent."
